Wayne in our Toy Department had a pretty extraordinary experience. A donation came in of older educational games acquired for a school in the 1970s. He realized quickly these weren’t just any games. They were from the school he taught at… and they were HIS games from HIS classroom around 1978. The States game still had the envelopes with his name and handwriting. The math game still had the red dots he marked to separate the pieces. 40+ years later, these same games found their way right back into his hands.The smiles, laughter, and memories shared of incredible students and years spent teaching, filled the shop. A little circle-of-life moment that pulled at the heartstrings today.
